Do You Remember the First Rainbow Your Child Drew?
During my time as a preschool teacher, I’ve seen countless rainbow drawings by children. Simple yet full of vibrant colors, rainbows have always been a beloved subject. They reflect the pure innocence of children and the beauty of nature itself.
After becoming a mother, I eagerly awaited the day my own child would draw his first rainbow. But unlike other kids, my child showed little interest in drawing, and as time passed, I couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious. Then one day, my child carefully handed me a piece of paper, and in one corner, there was a tiny rainbow—wobbly lines drawn with his favorite colors. Though small, that rainbow has stayed in my heart ever since.
Every child grows at their own pace, in their own unique way. And just like that first rainbow, I believe each child’s journey will become a beautiful and meaningful beginning.
